REI Bike Drive and BTWW Breakfast Fun

First of all thanks to everyone who came out and donated bikes to P2P at REI last Saturday. We hauled nearly 40 back to the shop! Special thanks also to our volunteer crew: Nick, Erika, Don, Paul, Jacque, Tim, Bernard and Bo. You all rock. Carol, the Outreach Specialist at REI, was fantastic to work with and very generous with the 20% off coupons!

In other news, we had a great morning with the Bike to Work Week folks while running the valet corrals.

Some bikes are better suited to the racks than others.

Mayor Condon had nice things to say about bicycling in Spokane.

Roast House Coffee was great, but MDC preferred Dutch Love on the day.

In any event, MDC’s words were well met by these  “Church of the Bicycle” Crustaceanists . They share a devout love of the Clownfish, a sub-deity of our “Almighty Lob.”

"Hail Nemo/Lob, Full of Grace. Give us this day our annual pancakes"

Look forward to seeing everyone at the wrap-up party hosted by Steamplant Grill this Thursday from 4:30 – 6:30.

We’ve got the racks if you’ve got the bike.
