P2P fans and volunteers,
We’re getting ready for our big move this fall, and as with any move, we asking our friends to help us and lighten our load.
If you have a truck and want to help with the actual move,
If you have a bike with a basket, panniers, buckets or cargo capacity,
If you want to help us organize and pack in preparation for the move,
If you’re interested in cleaning and beautifying,
or all of the above..
Just email us or call and we’ll get in touch with you! firstname.lastname@example.org 842-6597
hosting some volunteer nights in October for pre-move-in, a ride to the
new shop for folks who want to haul stuff by bike, and a move-by-truck
day for big stuff like shelving and work tables.
Thanks–your support is so greatly appreciated
(p.s. don’t forget to check our blog and calendar for updates)
Pedals2People’s annual public meeting is scheduled for Sunday, Oct 25th at 4pm. We will be hosting a casual dinner, and we’ll let our supporters know what’s upcoming for the next year. I think most of you know that we’re moving to a more central location. This move and our continued educational programs and outreach services will cover some of the things we’ll be talking about.
Stay tuned for the location, and please mark you calendars for now!
We meet at the shop tonight at 7 for everything you ever wanted to know about bottom brackets. We’re hoping to cover every major bike component over the next several months. If you miss one, that’s ok, but if you’re a lady who rides, this is a great FREE opportunity for you to learn more about your bike and how to keep it running!
Pedals2People is moving to east Sprague! We’ll be sharing a space at 1802 E Sprague with SNAP, right next door to One World . P2P’ll be moving in this fall, which means that we will have HEAT this winter, and we’ll be able to schedule classes, host more open-shop hours, and all manner of bike fun!
P2P will have a booth at Spoke Fair this Sunday the 13th. We’ll have information on volunteering, our community bike shop, and our other programs. We’ll also be selling some limited edition t-shirts, quality used parts, and patches. Want a SpokeFest spoke card? Stop by our booth and get yours!
Hope you enjoy the ride and bike festivities at the 2nd Annual SpokeFest.
